How to make sausage roll
Ingredients
• puff pastry
• Flour 300g
• Sausage meat 400g
• Margarine 225g
Method
1. Roll the pastry 3mm thick into stripe 10cm wide.
2. Make sausage meat into a roll 2cm diameter
3. Place on the pastry, moisten the edge of the pastry
4. Fold over and seal, cut into 8cm length
5. Mark the edge with the back of a knife brush with egg wash.
6. Placed on a greased damp panned baking sheet.
7. Bake at 220°c for about 20 minutes.
